The political role
The Signatory recognizes the equal rights of women and men to vote, to be a candidate for and to hold elected office.
General framework for equality
The Signatory will, in relation to all its competences, recognize, respect and promote the relevant rights and principles of equality of women and men, and combat disadvantage and discrimination related to gender.
